Shine ~ Sister ~ Shine

Shine~ Sister~ Shine was written for all women, regardless of age or season of life.  It is a place where you can grab a cup of coffee, kick off your shoes, and get comfortable.  

If you are like me, you are a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and many other titles.   In all these titles, we are also counselors, comforter, cooks, doctors, maids, home managers, teachers and any other jobs we may have taking care of family and friends.  

I am just like you.

We are hero's to those that love and depend on us.  But unfortunately, as women we also see ourselves through a distorted negative view.  Sometimes the words that we describe our own selves are words that we would never describe some else that we deeply care about.  

We are beautiful.  We are held as a treasure.  Someone loves us so much that He delights, He sings, He rejoices over us.  That is our Heavenly Father.  Our awesome God.  Check out Zephaniah 3:17 

¹⁷ The Lord your God is with you,

    he is mighty to save.

He will take great delight in you,

    he will quiet you with his love,

    he will rejoice over you with singing.”

Shine~Sister~Shine is a place of encouragement.  You are beautiful person in Christ.    

My hope is that when you view the postings contained in this blog that you will learn more about yourself.  You will gain confidence in who you really are in all your roles that you perform daily.

I am so excited to show you that you can be set free and shine.  Even through life's mud puddles.  If we can keep our minds set on who we are in Christ instead of who we describe ourselves.  We can be set free to love like Christ.   So Shine my Sister Shine.
